What ServiceTags does
You own equipment that lives in buildings you don't run: med carts in nursing homes, beds and lifts in assisted living, devices in rehab centers. When something breaks, the people who notice are the facility's staff, not yours.
ServiceTags gives them a way to tell you, and gives you one place to keep track of every piece of equipment.
How it works
- Tag. Each piece of equipment is an item in ServiceTags, with a tag stuck on it.
- Place. Each item is recorded at a site, the facility where it lives.
- Scan. When something's wrong, facility staff point their phone camera at the tag and fill in a short form.
- Fix. The report becomes a ticket on that item. Your team picks it up from the web or the field app.
- Prove. The ticket stays on the item, so its service history is there whenever someone asks.
Who uses what
| Who | Uses | To |
|---|---|---|
| You and your office | The website, at app.servicetags.co | Set things up, watch tickets come in, run reports |
| Your techs | The ServiceTags app on their phone | Scan tags, work tickets, add notes and photos, even with no signal |
| Facility staff | Their phone camera | Report a problem on your equipment |
Can other companies see my equipment?
No. Your account is private. Facility staff see only the page for the tag they scanned. They can't browse your other equipment, and they can only see a ticket if they have its link.
What ServiceTags doesn't do
An item's site is where you've recorded it. ServiceTags doesn't track where equipment physically is, and a scan doesn't log the scanner's location. When equipment moves, update its site.
