Working offline
Supply rooms and basements often have no signal. The app keeps working, and sends your changes when you're back online.
Before you go
The first time you sign in, the app shows Preparing Your Data while it saves what you'll need. Let it finish on Wi-Fi.
Open the tickets you'll need for the day before you leave. Tickets you've opened stay available offline. The full ticket list doesn't.
What works offline
| Works | Needs a connection |
|---|---|
| Opening items and tickets you've already opened | Seeing the full ticket list |
| Changing a ticket's status | Adding photos to a note |
| Writing notes | Photos, files, and signatures on forms |
| Filling in forms (other answers are kept) | Deleting a ticket |
| Pairing, renaming, or deleting items |
How you know
A bar at the top tells you where things stand.
| Bar | Means |
|---|---|
| You're offline · changes save to this device | You're offline. Keep working. |
| Syncing 3 items… | You're back online and the app is sending your changes. |
| All changes synced | Done. |
A form you submit offline says Saved offline. Will submit when you're back online. It becomes a ticket when it sends.
Checking what's waiting
Open Settings, then Sync queue. Each change shows as Queued, Syncing, or Retry. Tap Sync all now to try again straight away. When it's empty, it says All caught up.
There's also a Work offline switch in Settings, for when a weak signal is worse than none.
