What staff see when they scan

Facility staff scan your tags with the camera on their own phone. A web page opens. There's nothing to download and no account to make.

This page walks through what they see, so you can answer when a facility asks.

The tag page

The page shows your company's logo and a short list of options. These come from the menu you set up: usually a form to report a problem, and sometimes a phone number or a link.

An option only appears if its form is published. If staff say an option is missing, check that its form isn't still a draft.

Some options can ask for a 4-digit PIN. Use these for things only your own people should open, like an inspection form.

If it's already been reported

If the item has an open ticket and you've chosen to show open tickets, staff see "Is it one of these?" before they start a new report. They can tap the existing ticket to follow it, or choose No, report something new.

This cuts down on five people reporting the same broken cart.

Filling in the form

Staff answer your questions and tap Submit. Forms can be one page or several, with Next and Back.

If the form covers several sites, they're asked Which site is this? first.

After they submit

They see Submission Received, your thank-you message, and a ticket number. Two buttons follow:

Track Ticket StatusOpens a page for that ticket
Submit Another ReportStarts again

The ticket page shows its status, a history of changes, and Updates from Team. Only notes your team marks as public appear there. Anything else stays private.

Limits

To stop spam, one phone can send 10 reports in 15 minutes. After that it sees "Too many submissions. Please try again later."

A wrong PIN 5 times in a row locks the option for 30 seconds.

When something's wrong

If the page says the tag isn't paired, isn't recognized, or isn't set up yet, see When a tag won't scan.
