The field app
The ServiceTags app is for the people out at facilities. Download it from the App Store or Google Play and sign in with your work email.
The tabs
| Tab | What's there |
|---|---|
| Tickets | Every ticket at the sites you can see. This opens first. |
| Items | Your equipment, and recent activity |
| Sites | The facilities you cover |
The Scan button sits in the middle of the tab bar.
Scan a tag
Tap Scan and point the camera at a tag. The item opens, with its details, forms, and history.
If the code is worn, tap Enter tag ID, type the ID printed on the tag, and tap Look up item.
Work a ticket
Tickets are split into To do, Scheduled, and Done. Tap one to open it. The bar at the bottom has what you need.
| Button | Does |
|---|---|
| Note | Add a note, with photos from Camera or Library |
| Complete | Close the ticket. On a closed ticket it says Reopen. |
| Status | Change the status, or schedule it for Today, Tomorrow, or Next Week |
| Manual | Open the manual for this equipment, if one is attached |
You can also swipe a ticket left in the list to complete it.
Notes are private unless you say so
Tick Make public on a note if the person who reported the problem should see it. Leave it unticked for anything internal. Public notes show up on the ticket page staff got after they reported.
Fill in a form
Open an item, go to Forms, and pick one: an inspection, a delivery check, a repair report. If you leave halfway, the app keeps your answers on the phone.
Notifications
The bell shows when a ticket is assigned to you, when a ticket's status changes, and when someone mentions you in a note. Choose email or push on the website, under Settings, then Notifications.
